Rold welcomed students from four universities to its premises at MIND: the University of Ljubljana, the University of Zagreb, the Polytechnic University of Milan, and the Vienna University of Technology. Together with researchers from our Innovation and Applied Research Laboratory (RLab) and university professors, the visiting students collaborated to respond to a challenge: a real Hackathon in which they co-created new solutions for the world of household appliances and had the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts in the field.

The initiative is part of the "Pro Hackin'" project, co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ Program, and aims to improve teaching methods and promote collaboration between industry and academia.

RLab constantly collaborates with universities to promote cross-contamination approaches in higher education and support the development of innovative solutions that respond to industrial challenges.
