From February 2024, security services for the common areas within MIND will be managed by IVC – Istituto di Vigilanza Coopservice, part of the Coopservice Group, a global service provider with a turnover of €1.2 billion and over 20,000 employees, active for over 40 years in the private security sector.
IVC has raised the bar in terms of security by integrating innovation and sustainability within the district, which now sees a daily flow of over 2,000 people, including students, researchers, professionals, and employees of companies based at MIND.
The founding values of MIND—innovation and sustainability—are fully aligned with the DNA of Istituto di Vigilanza Coopservice, which recently also achieved ISO 56002 certification for Innovation Management. An entire team dedicated to innovation within the Group and a Permanent Innovation Committee contribute to designing and implementing innovative solutions that make "security by design" a reality. In this regard, the new SOC (Security Operation Center) installed at MIND is equipped with the most advanced technologies and, in accordance with shared values of environmental sustainability, only electric vehicles are used for both routine and extraordinary inspection and intervention activities on site.

As proof of this, just a few months after the publication of the UNI standards created with the aim of standardizing security-related services (UNI 11926:2023) and defining the skills required of operators of such services (UNI 11925:2023), IVC was among the first companies to obtain certification.
