Human Technopole (HT) is pleased to announce the launch of itsnew Gender Equality Plan (GEP) for 2025-2027, a strategic plan designed to further integrate gender equality into all aspects of the Institute, building on the positive results achieved bythe previous GEP(2022-2024). HT has also obtainedUNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, which recognizes organizations that promote gender equality and foster inclusive work environments.

HT's mission is to improve human life and technology through innovative basic research in the life sciences. With this new GEP, HT reinforces its commitment to creating agender-inclusive environment, recognizing the importance of integrating gender perspectives into scientific research, training, and public health policies. By promoting gender equality, the Institute aims to foster an organizational culture based on transparency, collaboration, and excellence.

The plan identifiessix key objectives: raising awareness of gender equality and diversity, promoting work-life balance, ensuring gender balance in recruitment and career advancement, integrating gender into research, combating gender-based violence, and improving communication of GEP actions.

The new GEP is in line with the European Union's commitment to gender equality, a fundamental value expressed in its founding documents. It aligns with the EU's strategic priorities and the guidelines of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). The plan is part of HT's broader commitment to contributing to an inclusive and diverse research environment that ensures fairness and equality in all its activities.
