February 2, 2026. A day dedicated not only to updates, but also to alignment and constructive discussion within the network.

With 50 participants and 20 companies represented, Strategy Day was an opportunity to take stock of where we are today as Federated Innovation @MIND and to openly discuss how we want to work tomorrow.

At MIND Milano Innovation District, this approach takes shape through real experimentation: research, industry, infrastructure, and education work together to transform ideas into concrete actions.

Agenda items:

MIND: from Expo legacy to innovative legacy model

Federated Innovation and Anchor Companies as a national and international benchmark

Increasing institutional visibility (EU, international delegations)

Need to communicate a clear, unified, and effective model

Strengthen dialogue with the district's Anchor Companies

The biggest changes in recent years?

Greater focus on large-scale Flagship Projects

Shared projects developed together with the district's Anchor Companies and institutions

Objective: maximize value and impact

Greater capacity to act as an ecosystem and bring businesses together

Fewer projects, but stronger ones

MIND has been selected by the Lombardy Region as a reference model for Lombardy's ZIS (Special Industrial Areas): in 2025, the Region launched a roadmap in the Lombardy provinces to present MIND as a district model.
