Fondazione Triulza ETS, in collaboration with and with the support of Fondazione Cariplo, is organizing the first edition of theHackathon "STEM Talents for Social Innovation: technologies to address social challenges" on October 21.
The aim of the initiative is to involve the younger generation in developing proposals and ideas to respond effectively and innovatively to certain current and future social needs.
A co-design contest will give small multidisciplinary teams of university students or ITS (Istituti Tecnici Superiori, or Higher Technical Institutes) students with STEM and humanities skills the opportunity to develop innovative proposals to address a specific social challenge.
The theme of the challenge will focus on how to support the independence of people with disabilities, leveraging multidisciplinary approaches and perspectives and the use of technology to address the social challenge of accessibility.
